The ship-busting Beaufort pilots of Coastal Command had to have nerves of steel to face the terrifying flak thrown at them from the German convoys they attacked. Pilot Officer Terry Webb's stomach tightened as his plane swept over the enemy merchant ships, for there, looming out of the mist ahead, was a German battle-cruiser, and to sink that one would take more than sheer nerve!
