THE ROYAL NAVY AT WAR FLEET AIR ARM This unique collection of six British wartime films provides a diverse insight into Fleet Air Arm operations and its carriers and aircraft. Areas covered include an account of a complete ops cycle as flown by carrier-based Swordfish, a guide to the Batsman s signals, catapult ships, fighter pilot training and U-Boat recognition and attack. Seafires, Martlets, Albacores and Fulmars are all captured with rare footage. THE ROYAL NAVY AT WAR NAVAL INSTRUCTIONAL FILMS This collection of five wartime Admiralty films offers a detailed and truly diverse look at the skills expected to be mastered by the men of the RN and their duties on board ship. It includes a look at the duties of a Helmsman, how a destroyer raises steam , ship safety instructions, a detailed account of lookout techniques and a guide to ships internal communications. THE ROYAL NAVY AT WAR NAVAL KNOW YOUR OWN NAVY This extensive collection of wartime films features much rare and precious footage of many of the RN ships that saw service during the Second World War. It includes a three-part Know Your Own Navy ship identification guide, combat on the high seas film, a profile of the Submarine Detection Branch, the Y Recruitment Scheme, the Chariot and a dramatised patrol on board a British sub.
