This is an Australian War Correspondent press release report which was distributed with Military Orders for the information of officers. This particular report was sent to an unidentified RAE Regiment.
 
These reports contain news of the AIF fighting in Gallipoli, the Middle East, and France.

Much of the text is a first-hand recounting in the typical manner of a journalist, dramatic and frank.
 
Especially rare as First World War reports were heavily censored and only official War correspondents, such as C.W. Bean, could report from the frontline.
